The Open Galvanised Thimble protects wire rope at termination points by forming a natural curve around the loop — preventing pinching, kinking, and premature wear at the point of load.
Fitted inside a wire rope loop or eye, the thimble maintains the rope’s natural form and distributes load evenly, extending the working life of the wire rope and termination fitting.
